Christina Perri debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 after a performance of Jar of Hearts on American dance show So You Think You Can Dance. The choreography of the song on SYTYCD  triggered some mass attention – gaining fans all over the world.
Jar of Hearts is an emotional song that’s got Christina’s Adele-like vocals (sans accent) blending in and showing some heartache. With all those upbeat songs this summer, it’s nice to see some slow tune from Christina Perri. Every once in a while.

Christina sings out “Who do you think you are? Running around leaving scars” that certainly grabs mass attention and is exactly what a heartbroken girl wants to say to that douchebag that tore their soul apart.
Overall, the song’s a good hear. We may see more of Christina Perri in the weeks to come. If you’re a fan of calm songs that show some inner emotion, this is the song for you. If not, better skip it.
